Country Dreamer - original painting

This painting was inspired by the song ‘Country Dreamer’ by Paul McCartney & Wings. The lyrics take my mind to a blissful scene in the countryside, where we can spend time amongst nature, finding fun in the little joys and learning to feel a harmonious connection with the natural environment.

I visualised a place where our inner child can delight, and a place where we can be mindful and respectful of all the life around us, while we enjoy and observe the simple curiosities. The Country Dreamer cow dreams of this world - a world in which one day we will all be in harmony with all nature - a place where people can dream and play, and where animals will be free to be who they are meant to be.
